(More customer reviews)I purchased this product because the wire and cover on my original broke, exposing the wire. It worked fine for a year. Now, it over heats, and is starting to melt the the plastic casing. Which for me is fine, cuz the laptop is over 5 years old, and getting to the point that it is unusable.
It's an okay buy, and I got it when I needed it most.[Edit 8/22/09: This one now over heats and the adapter has indents from where it has melted a little from the heat.]
