(More customer reviews)I ordered this product because the original one that came with the laptop was old and the covering had broken loose around the base of the adapter exposing the cords inside and electrical tape can only go so far. We tried this one and it does what it needs to, the shorter cord is more convenient for our use of it and it doesn't seem to get as hot as the original one did so overall I like. It seems durable and works great so I'd definately recommend it. But it does have a relatively short cord so that should be taken into consideration before purchase. For someone like me it is a boon but others might find a shorter cord a nuissance. Great product overall. ^_^
