(More customer reviews)My wife stepped on her netbook. I called Toshiba and they would charge $400 to "fix" it. I thought that was silly, since the netbook only cost about $300 to start with brand new!
I found some directions online and it was pretty simple to replace. If you have basic "DIY" skills and can keep track of which screw goes where, you'll be fine replacing your LCD. If not, buy this part and take it to your local computer repair shop for a small fee.

Please match your original screen's BACKLIGHT TYPE, SIZE, and RESOLUTION before you purchase this item, because some laptop models come with more than one type of screens
