(More customer reviews)The item shipped very fast. Packaging was adequate and unit was undamaged and definitely new when received. There is a 2-wire cable that was 1/4" too short to connect the screen once the screen was mounted / attached in the frame. I had to cut the old cable from the old screen and use a wireless soldering iron (butane powered from Radio Shack) to splice the "extension" to the cable to the screen (wireless so that there was no static discharge issue for the screen.) Once wired up, the screen worked beatifully in the laptop (a Toshiba Satellite A105-S4384.)
So, I give a rating of 4 for quick turnaround on the order and the screen looking and working as advertised. If I had not had to modify the cable in order to connect the screen, it would have received 5 stars. I guess so many laptops use this screen that its possible to get one where the cable length would not work, and I managed to be that one.
