(More customer reviews)I purchased this battery the day after Christmas, when I received the Toshiba laptop as a gift. While the price was a bit daunting, upon research I discovered (as usual) that Amazon's price was the best. The battery has one attribute/feature I hadn't expected, not having had a laptop before: when installed it raises the back of the computer about 3/4", placing the keyboard at a much more comfortable angle. As to performance: it is a much more powerful battery than the stock battery. As such, it lasts almost a full 10 hours under light useage - heavy useage, I suspect, could reduce that to closer to 4-5 hours - whereas the stock battery, under light useage, will last no more than two hours, with a corresponding reduction on time for heavy use. All-in-all, a good investment for aomeone who moves his computer around a lot between charges.
