* The finger pad and buttons are perfect. I very much like the textured surface of the former and the domed shape of the latter.
* The shiny case is very sharp looking.
* The display is sharp, colorful, and very well lit.
* The i3-380M processor is OUTSTANDING! This may be the single best feature of the whole computer. For example, its dual-core, four-thread architecture allows simultaneous operation of two HD ATSC tuners for seamless time shifting. The rate at which laptop performance has increased is stunning!
* The computer comes with a minimal amount of 3rd-party software clutter.
I'd easily award the L655 five stars if it weren't for two nitpicks: 1) I would prefer the power jack to be located on the left side of the computer. 2) I'd prefer the USB ports also to be on the left side. It must be a Western thing...
