(More customer reviews)This case is not really hard. It is made of a stiff but flexible plastic with a nylon covering. There is no internal padding to absorb impact to the case or computer. Now that I have it, I will try to modify it by adding some neoprene to the inside. But if I were buying a case again I would chose another. I would probably consider one of the double memory foam cases. It seems that they would offer more protection than this. Overall I don't recommend this case.
