(More customer reviews)After a year of owning my Toshiba laptop, the cord began to fray internally...you could hear it crackling and it was no longer charging the laptop. I purchased this adapter as a replacement and it has been great. It actually has better construction than the original charger, therefore, I do not think I'll have that same problem in the future. Priced well.
