(More customer reviews)I was afraid that 11.6" was too small but it's just right for most activities. Just remember to use ctrl-+ / ctrl-- to zoom in/out web pages.
Paired with a Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX this mini laptop is just perfect (this mouse really works on any surfaces!).
Solid built, fast (I'm used to a fast quad core desktop, 1TB HDD, 24" display...), good looking and slim. Good size HDD. Nice touch/angle/"full" keyboard and track pad,.
Windows 7 Home premium works really well: Fast booth times, I can VPN and Remote Desktop to work...
Minor issues:
- the TAB key could have been wider. Takes few hits to get used to it.
- no built in Bluetooth. This is a plus if you do not use it...
- high gloss display with relatively small viewing angle. Like all the rest of them.
- low quality web cam.
- low quality speakers.
- no built in DVD drive. This is a welcome tradeoff: more portability.
- A lot of useless Toshiba software to uninstall. I don't like clutter.
Tip: Adding an additional 2Gb of DDR3 RAM (there is a free slot) makes it noticeably faster.
